Get Involved!

Auditions for ‘The Sinnerman’ – an original script based on the music of the Squirrel Nut Zippers will be held on the weekend of 27th-28th March. We’re looking for singers, dancers and actor (and crew and production people), so you don’t have to be good at all three to get involved! Email thesinnerman@musoc.org.nz to make an audition time!

Set in the southern states of America, ‘The Sinnerman’ follows the tale of a young jazz musician who sells his soul to the devil in exchange for fame, glory, money and love. From jealousy to wrath, gluttony to lust, this jazz filled journey through each deadly sin shakes up more than just the life of a simple boy from the south.

Please prepare a song if you wish, and bring some other songs which you would consider singing to discuss. Wear comfy clothes that are good to move in and not too hot, bring a drink bottle, and lots of energy!
